There are many ways to change low disk space warning in Windows 7, you can delete large files not often used, or programs no necessary, but low disk space issue often happens in C Drive, and it's risky to deleting files in C Drive if you are not familiar which file name is system related, so the best way is to do it in third party software focus on disk partition problems.

Resolve C Drive Red Bar Problem in Disk Management

Extend Volume function in Disk Management can solve C Drive Red Bar problem by extending its size. However, you have to delete D Drive, or the partition right behind C: to make this function active, or else Extend Volume will gray out even when you have enough free space in other partitions.

Let's Do it step by step:

1. Backup D partition, for example, you can use Copy Volume function in Partition Expert to backup D partition quickly.
2. Press Win+R to open RUN box, type diskmgmt.msc in the box, press Enter
3. Right-click on D Partition,> Delete Volume; > Confirm; Now you can see D partition becomes unallocated space.
4. Right-click on C Drive, > Extend Volume; Follow Extend Volume Wizard

Now open Windows Explorer, you can see C Drive is now in Normal color again.

Resolve C Drive Red Bar Problem in Partition Expert

Alternative way to resolve C Drive Red Bar problem is to Run Partition Expert, Resize C Drive, Let's start.

1. Download, install, and Run Macrorit Partition Expert.
2. Click C Drive, and Choose Resize/Move Volume from function column, or just right-click.
3. In the popup window, Drag the handle to new size
3. Do the same operation on C Drive, Resize/Move Volume again
4. OK,>, Commit, > Done.

Other ways to Solve C Drive Red Bar Problem

If you don't want to extend volume to solve C Drive Red Bar problem, you can do the following during daily work:

1. Empty recycle bin.
2. Clean junk files, temporary files, zip files in download folder, installation files you don't use often, file installation package.
3. If program temporary files are increasing, uninstall and reinstall it.
