Supported file system

Many users have wrote to us asking if our products support a particular file system, Windows file system FAT32, NTFS, exFAT or Linux’s Ext2, Ext3, Ext4 or Mac’s HFS+ or other UFS file system

Although we listed some of the file systems on the product page, we still need to make a complete list of it, we’ll list and category them by product:

  1. Partition Expert
  2. Data Wiper
  3. Disk Scanner
  4. NTFStoFAT32 Converter

Partition Expert Supports

  • NTFS (New Technology File System) (display + operate)
  • FAT(File Allocation Table) (FAT16, FAT32) (display + operate)
  • EXT(Extended file system) (EXT2, EXT3, EXT4) (display)

Data Wiper Supports

The following file system are all supported by Data Wiper, both display them and operate (wipe) them, most of them all strictly tested, few of them are under testing, testing display effect only, Data Wiper will definitely wipe them even some of them won’t display correctly.

Data Wiper is able to wipe the following file systems:

FAT (FAT12, FAT16, FAT32), exFAT, NTFS, HFS and HFS+, HPFS, APFS, UFS, ext2, ext3, ext4, XFS, btrfs, ISO 9660, Files-11, Veritas File System, VMFS, ZFS, ReiserFS and UDF.

Disk Scanner Supports
