512b cluster is the old generation standard, now 4k cluster is common, the 64k cluster is for big file storage like games, 3D movie, HD photo. Games like Warcraft, Overwatch, install package are big, large cluster size like 64k will significantly improve game performance.
Partitions size are changing all the time when Windows is running, reading and writing data to hard drives, sometimes it gains size automatically even when no one is downloading files from the internet. Windows Server administrators may be more aware of this since the log file is consistently increased self’s size when Server is working.
Although this is the age of NTFS file system, it does not apply to Sony Play Station and Microsoft XBOX 360 players, because their devices won’t recognize NTFS but FAT32. In Window Disk Management, the snap-in partition manager, is capable of create FAT32 partitions, but let’s check how it works:
